The Memphis Grizzlies have seem to made a plan to move on with journeyman forward Brian Skinner. The Grizzlies released him Friday after only playing in one regular-season game which was against San Antonio where Skinner would only log about four minutes.
With this recent release, some speculation around Memphis is that they’re aiming to re-acquire center Hasheem Thabeet who they traded to Houston. However according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, this is not the case.
Hamed Haddadi is expected to rejoin the Grizzlies in the coming days. Haddadi has been playing in Dubai and he is expected to accept a one-year deal between $1-1.5 million.
Haddadi is expected to sign and, once employed, is expected to get a work visa from Canada after interviewing with the U.S. Embassy.
