The New York Knicks had planned for awhile to grab some free agents especially Lebron James when free agency opened up. From what has come out from various sources James was not real impressed with the presentation the New York Knicks made to him. If that is true it's a real shame as the Knicks blew an golden opportunity that only comes around once in awhile.
Right now the Knicks are hoping they can persuade Amare Stoudemire to jump at the chance to play in New York. Unless the Knicks get Wade or James all the work they have done will be for nothing. James is the player that they wanted, but from all indications they have blown the one opportunity and that is a shame. The real losers in all this is the New York Knick fans who maybe treated to more horrible basketball which is not fair.
