The Boston Celtics hosted the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night in what ended up being a triple-overtime thriller. The Celtics managed to win the game 118-114 behind Paul Pierce’s 27 points.
While the game was full of highlights, perhaps the best highlight was when the oft vocal Kevin Garnett told Kenneth Faried to “get that sh$t out of her n$%#a”. He yelled it loud enough that the entire stadium could probably hear him. The best part was the announcers. “Well, Kevin Garnett has been awfully vocal tonight”. Hilarious.

BOSTON — Maybe it was a slip of the tongue or a subtly placed hint, but Kevin Garnett left quite a few reporters scratching their heads on Wednesday.
After the Celtics closed out the first half of the regular season with a victory over the Bulls, Garnett talked about the fatigue he felt after playing three games in four days and how the Celtics have managed to win eight of their...
Did Kevin Garnett unintentionally announce his retirement tonight? When the 17-year veteran was asked about this weekend’s All-Star game following the Celtics’ 71-69 win over the Bulls, he responded by saying it would be his last. When asked why, the Celtic, who has two years and $23.5 million remaining on his contract after this season, said “Ya’ll don’t know what I know...
Earlier this morning we noted that folks continue to drop the n-word way too easily and what does The Big Lead come up with? Kevin Garnett dropping the word on a local broadcast last...

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
Kevin Garnett said last night that his 14th All-Star Game appearance on Sunday in Houston will also be his last, though the Celtics forward stopped short of saying he was retiring at the end of the season.
8 a.m. ET: Kevin Garnett will be the only Celtics player on the court this weekend, and no, that’s not because he will be the only one still healthy. Garnett is the Celtics’ lone representative at All-Star weekend this year, as Rajon Rondo, who was due to start at point guard for the East, is out with a torn ACL in his right knee and Paul Pierce was left off the roster.
Kevin Garnett has never been one to hold his tongue on the court. Known widely for his explicit language, Garnett makes it clear that he will never change that aspect of his on the court game. So now we have this video courtesy of The Big Lead. Check out the interesting commentary KG had after blocking a shot.
Kevin Garnett hasn’t been shy on his feelings towards Dwight Howard these days. Just over the summer he called Howard a clown, turns out Garnett’s loathing for the fellow Super Star player goes deeper.

The Boston Celtics 71-69 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night was fantastic to the club, but that wasn’t the hype after the game.
Kevin Garnett approached the media in his gamely casual interviews with reporters. During the dialogue, an anonymous reporter questioned the Big Ticket in regards to his potential conclusion with the...
Yes you read the title right. Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is scheduled to participate in this year’s Dunk Contest. And reportedly it appears he is considering using a bowling ball during the competition. Per Denver Post: “I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m [...]
Forget about the shroud of uncertainty surrounding the Boston Celtics thanks to trade rumors and injury concerns circulating this season. It seems as though the veteran ball club has done everything in their power to stave off the doubt and not only maintain their legitimacy in the Eastern Conference, but improve their NBA odds in the process.
With a five-game West Coast swing on...
Josh Smith has again been linked to Boston by a respected NBA reporter.
I keep hearing Josh Smith's primary destination is Boston.— Gery Woelfel (@GeryWoelfel) February 14, 2013
"Primary destination" can mean trade destination or as a free agent.
It's been well documented the immensely talented, immensely frustrating Smith is a good friend of Rajon Rondo....

CHARLOTTE, N.C - Heading into Time Warner Cable Arena Monday night, the Boston Celtics were as hot as any team in the league with seven straight wins, handing the Heat, Clippers, Nuggets and Lakers all losses during that stretch.
Who'd have thought it'd be the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, the bunch with the worst record in the NBA, that would cool them off?
As if a blown four...

Well, that was ugly. But a win is a win. The comments were pretty funny as the Bulls fans hated on their own team and coveted Celtics players. I find it hilarious that other fans hate on Tommy because he's a homer. That's exactly why I love him so much. My favorite comments are in bold. What are yours?
Per all these rumors, maybe some players will switch jerseys...
