The Houston Rockets held a introductory press conference Saturday to welcome aboard Dwight Howard which included special guests and former Rockets big men legends Hakeem Olajuwon, Elvin Hayes, Calvin Murphy, Ralph Sampson and Yao Ming who were introduced to those in attendance as well.
“A New Age” montage was shown with the newest Houston big man Dwight Howard mixed in and he was introduced by the Rockets play-by-play announcer, “He’s not Superman anymore, he’s Rocket Man.”
Dwight Howard spoke about why he chose the Houston Rockets, how excited he is to help out in the community and start having fun playing basketball again.
“If you can’t be happy when you’re playing then it’s not fun…I have a fresh start, I can write my own history here”

As you might figure, the Houston Rockets are doing their best to market new star center Dwight Howard and it appears that one of the routes they are using is the billboard one. I think Chipper Jones is a wee bit upset with umpire Angel Hernandez; Jones tweeted Friday night, “I will not watch a game, any game, officiated by Angel Hernandez!
