Comments from the Other Side - Hawks 3/29

Great game by the Celtics.  With both teams missing starting centers, they couldn't use Horford being out as an excuse.   As much as they complained about the officiating, the fact is that they got more free throws than the Celtics.  The refs let a lot of stuff go both ways. It's nice to know that they now know who Shavlik Randolph is.     Enjoy today's comments...

Greenchronicity: Jeff Green’s game winners against IND and CLE

After last night’s comeback win in Cleveland against the Cavs, Celtics captain Paul Pierce said how it could be scary that the C’s now have added Jeff Green to their list of players that are willing and able to make game winning shots.  Green executed a perfect under-handed lay-up at the correct adjusting angles to complete the come from behind win.  It was a much needed win...

The New Age of Scouting

Despite the bitter playoff losses Celtics fans have suffered over the last 4 years, there's one thing we too often forget: this was only supposed to be a 3 year run. When Danny Ainge first assembled the Hall of Fame trio in Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen, the sporting world erupted in excitement over the sweeping "all-in" move. Apparently sacrificing the...
