As we all know the Thunder have set a pretty high bar in the Western Conference as the team to beat. I know it was only one Final’s run but, do you really see anybody comparable in the West? I didn’t until I heard that Dwight might sign the extension. I know Kobe said he would leave the league in two but, if Dwight is there for five Kobe may stay a bit longer. Kobe is no longer in his prime although in his mind he’s never been better. The New Superman and Mamba He’s still a top 5 player in the league and he’s about to have another one join his team. The lineup the Lakers would put out with Dwight would be scary. Howard, Gasol, World Peace, Bryant, and Nash. It is also a team built to win now especially with the acquisition of guys like Jamison and Nash. Bryant has at least two years of top 10 ball and maybe three of top 15. Dwight would hide the huge defensive liability that is Steve Nash and would help the “soft” Gasol with his remarkable interior defense. This best part of this fo...
