Sports Illustrated's Zach Lowe argues that if the Warriors could get another team or two involved in the deal, and could unload Andris Biedrins in the process, "They would be right to try. Breaking up a franchise in this condition is not an enormously risky move."
Perhaps, but imagine a 2012-13 season with Monta Ellis making the All-Star team in someone else's uniform, while Howard's Bay Area tenure amounts to a short-term rental. You can almost hear the consensus opinion: "That is so Warriors."

Then again, according to multiple sources, Kobe Bryant warned Howard that he'd only be a second or third scoring option if he came to L.A.
