The lack of free agent moves, trades, summer leagues and typical NBA commotion that fill our summers is gone. Instead, we are left with players considering moves to foreign countries, labor talks (or lack thereof) and EuroBasket Championships. It's been a sullen summer for sure. Particularly without the NBA Summer Leagues giving us a preview of what's to come with the incoming draft class as well as some second- and third-year guys. The Leagues were always a way for fans and writers to get access to players they wouldn't be privy to in the future. It's that same feeling Impact Basketball is trying to capture when it's Lockout League begins Sept. 12 with one small catch.
