Indiana Pacers’ All Star forward, Paul George has become the team’s franchise player, has a truly remarkable skill set and has become one of the best players in the NBA at the ripe age of 23. Is he the next LeBron James? Well no, but he is the closest thing to James in the NBA as of today. Paul George, may be the only perimeter player with the array of talents on both ends of the court that LeBron has. He is on par with James already as a defender and is one of the top 4 perimeter defenders in the NBA and can shut down almost anyone in this league. He is simply a dominant defender in a league that is short on lockdown perimeter defenders and takes defense just as seriously as offense, which is so rare for such a young player. He broke out in the 2011 playoffs, shadowing Derrick Rose and became the first player to be able to slow down Derrick Rose. That put him on the map, but since then, he has only gotten better, but his offense has expanded 10 folds. Paul George became the 1st pla...

Pacers hammer Hawks in game 1 behind PG24's triple-double

Paul George is back! Well, kind of. PG24 still couldn't hit a shot from the field, finishing just 3-13 from the field, but the third-year All-Star made up for it from the line, going 17-18, and finishing with a triple-double by adding 11 rebounds and 12 assists. (VIDEO) Seventh Woods: The Next LeBron James?

Even though the NBA playoffs started this weekend, the basketball topic getting the most publicity right now is 14-year-old Seventh Woods’ mixtape. Woods is a 6’1” freshman guard from Columbia, South Carolina. First off, props to this kid’s mom for naming him Seventh. That is an awesome name. Secondly, this kid is an elite athlete. I mean top-notch. And this kid is only a...

LeBron James makes a bizarre press conference fashion choice

After the Miami Heat’s game one victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James wore a bizarre sweater to the post game press conference.  I guess if you’re the best basketball player in the world you can do stuff like this, but it can’t be recommended.  I hope his teammates gave him a lot of grief for wearing this hideous thing. LeBron James carves up Bucks in Game 1

No longer a villain, LeBron writing own book

MIAMI Shane Battier knows exactly how LeBron James was looked upon a year ago. He even provided a demonstration. The Miami Heat forward cocked his head to the right. Research turned up that Battier was uttering an expression that means to look at somebody disapprovingly...

Milwaukee must play perfectly to match Miami

To put into context the challenge any team faces in a seven-game series, just take a gander at Miami's regular season results. The Heat lost just four times in their last 41 games dating back to Jan. 27 - with one of those losses coming without LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Any team that plans on knocking out the defending NBA champions must find a way to beat them four times...

Anytime you are mentioned in the same breath as Larry Bird, you are great. Kevin Durant is a great player and one of the few SUPERstars of the league.
