Coming into their match-up on Wednesday night, the Pacers had won three games in a row on the road, and were seven of nine away from home so far this year. The Atlanta Hawks had lost three straight home games, and were looking to beat Indiana for the first time this season. On January 11th, the Pacers bested the Hawks 96-84 in Indiana. On this night, the result would be much different. Atlanta jumped out to an early 8-1 lead, before letting Indiana come back to take the lead at 10-8. That lead change was the only one in the game. The Hawks came back to take an 18-10 lead and never looked back. The Pacers gave up 59 points in the first half, their second most of the season. Indiana got as close as six points, scoring 31 in the third quarter, but could never quite close the gap. The Hawks had four players who scored in double figures, including 32 year-old Tracy McGrady, who scored seven of his 13 points in the fourth quarter. Atlanta was led by Josh Smith, who put up 28 points and te...

Pacers at Atlanta Hawks Game Thread

I will double check with coach Larry Drew pre-game, but according to the Hawks coach this morning he is planning no lineup changes for tonight’s game against the Pacers. "Irving needs his David West to get the Cavs to be a playoff contender. But hopefully the Cavs can give Irving more than just one other player who can play. Then they can be a championship contender instead of a playoff contender." - benny1699
