Well, it’s not quite the million dollars Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant donated towards tornado relief efforts in Oklahoma, but UFC welterweight James Head (pictured) is still digging deep into his pockets to do his part. Head, who was born in Illinois but fights out of OKC, has promised to donate nearly all of the money he’s guaranteed to make in his next fight to help the victims in this week’s tornado in Oklahoma. “Stoked to announce that I’m going to donate my next @ufc fight purse and 100% of all profits from @CF_Athletic #Pray4OK tee to benefit #Oklahoma tornado victims!” Head tweeted Friday morning. Head was TKO’d by Mike Pyle in his most recent fight. The 29-year-old made a reported $12,000 to show, so Head’s next UFC paycheck will be at least that amount. He was slated to battle Nick Catone last month at UFC 159, but Catone was forced withdraw on game day because of dehydration after failing to make weight. Head currently does not have a bout lined up.
