CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- The Miami Heat say LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Ray Allen won't play Friday night against the NBA-worst Charlotte Bobcats, but that Mario Chalmers has been upgraded to a game-time decision.
Chalmers participated in the team's Friday morning shoot-around practice.
The Heat can afford to rest their stars after locking up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
Allen is the latest injury for Miami after tweaking his right ankle when he fell over a cameraman during the fourth quarter of Tuesday night's game against the Knicks.
James and Wade have missed the last two games, while Chalmers has sat out the last three.
James is battling tightness in his right hamstring. Wade is nursing several minor injuries in his leg and Chalmers is recovering from a sprained ankle.

Bravo Melo! Dropping 50 points against any team is an elite and celebratory feat. Critics may want to belittle it because LeBron James nor Dwyane Wade played, but I loved it even more for that exact reason. The sight of James and Wade looking helpless and pissed while Melo went on a shooting spree, on their court...
Moroccan style theme for LeBron and his lady.
Wonder what the Iron Sheik is going to Tweet when he sees this.
The Miami Heat have two wins in their three games without LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, with big thanks to one of the team's reserves.
With the status of both James and Wade unclear for Saturday's home game against Philadelphia, the Heat may again need big contributions from Mike Miller to get a 15th straight regular-season win over the 76ers.

The Spurs and their fans felt disappointment with their unmotivated play and careless mistakes. They were slow to the ball and just played like they had the game won from the start.
The Miami Heat, however, had a different mindset coming into...

You know how LeBron James is always playing that worn out routine of “Maybe I should be in the Slam Dunk Contest this year…” and us basketball fans are like, “Please, oh, please LeBron, would ya do that, King? Would ya?” and he’s like, “Wellllllllllllll maybe if someone paid me a million dollars…” and then you and I pull out our pockets and fight over who gets to...
