The Clippers increase their record with a hard fought win over the New Jerset Nets 101-91 at home, only to go out on the road and get thumped by the Utah Jazz 108-79. Even despite the fact that Chris Paul and Mo Williams were not available, this was an embarrasing loss by 29 points. Everybody shot poorly except Ryan Gomes who had 8 points on 4 of 6 shots, and newly added Courtney Fortson who hit 5 of 10 shots for 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in 22 minutes while he filled in for our injured guards. The rest of the tean hit only 22 of 79 shots for 28%. Caron Butler led the way with 14 points. The Clippers now have to pick themselves off the floor and face the World Champion Dallas Mavericks 8-6, who had won 5 in a row before losing a close low scoring game to the Lakers by a score of 73-70.
