http://youtu.be/RGlXa9PlObk Golden State guard Jarret Jack knows that loose objects on the court are a hazard to players and officials alike, and when you come across a hazardous object like a shoe without a foot in it, you do the the most reasonable thing possible at that moment. You throw it 10 rows deep into the stands. In the name of safety, of course. During the Warriors-Sixers tilt Friday night, Dorell Wright lost his shoe during a poorly executed fast break, and when Jarret Jack hustled back on defense only to find Wright’s footwear laying haphazardly in the key, he grabbed it and nonchalantly threw the shoe into the stands and out of harm’s way. Jack followed up his shoe toss by nailing a three-pointer as the Warriors would end up grabbing the 96-89 victory. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen an NBA player toss an opponent’s shoe into the stands, but I can’t recall ever seeing one thrown so deep into the crowd.  I feel bad for the poor fan who caught Dorell Wright’s shoe thinking they just scored the souvenir of a lifetime, only to have to return it so Wright could continue playing.  A player’s ridiculously expensive custom shoe sure beats one of those cheesy foam fingers any day.
