New York Knicks guard Jason Kidd will soon turn 40, and the veteran told reporters – including Frank Isola of The New York Daily News – that he’s not ruling out retirement after the season.Kidd – whose career has spans three decades – told reporters that he’s taking things “one year at a time.” Several people close to the future Hall of Famer said they wouldn’t be surprised if he decides to call it a career following the 2012-13 season.At this point in his career, Kidd’s main goal is to win a championship.“I’ve achieved everything,” Kidd added. “It’s about the competition now and trying to achieve the ultimate goal and that’s to be the last team standing. When you fulfill that goal to win you want another one because you know it’s the ultimate feeling of winning a championship. You want that second one just as much as you want the first one.” A 10-time All-Star, Kidd has accumulated over 17,000 points, 12,000 assists, 8,600 rebounds and 107 triple-doubles during his time in the NBA.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");

JR Smith clowns coach's ugly shirt

I guess Knicks guard JR Smith fancies himself somewhat of a fashionista, seeing that he took it upon himself to critique his coach’s choice in outerwear. To be fair to Smith, that is one of the ugliest shirts ever seen on a man. White polka dots on a black shirt are so 2010, and why do they not continue to the upper back portion of Woodson’s top? Even Woodson looks about as impressed...

And while he’s “focused on the present”, the former No. 1 pick says he would love to return with the Knicks next...

Knicks-Raptors Preview

The New York Knicks were relieved to see Carmelo Anthony playing like his usual self after he missed some time with an injury.
