It just gets more superstitious for Jason Terry. According to ESPN, Jason Terry wore Miami Heat shorts last night as he prepares to play the Miami Heat tonight for Game One of the NBA Finals.
However, these shorts were not any kind of Heat shorts. They were Gary Payton’s…from the 2006 NBA Finals.
“Gary Payton gave me some back when they beat us,” said Terry. “I slept good.”
Terry wants to forget about the 2-0 lead they blew from the Finals, and ending up falling to Miami in six games.
Well, he did say he is superstitious. This is just another act of it.
