I have a gut feeling that this show is going to be a massive hit. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it seems that JaVale McGee and his mother, Pamela, have landed a deal for their own reality TV series entitled “Millionaire Mama’s Boy.” The announcement was part of a larger message in which a whole new slate of programming from Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network was laid out.
Given JaVale’s antics on the court (which you can re-visit HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE), this could be one of the more entertaining reality series to date.
Millionaire Mama’s Boy follows the relationship between former WNBA basketball star Pamela McGee and her 25-year-old son, Denver Nuggets center JaVale McGee. The Sony TV series is executive produced by Pete Tartaglia and Amy Palmer Robertson.

Danilo Gallinari and the Denver Nuggets have really perfected the NBA’s best celebration, and I can and will watch this on repeat for the next 24 hours. It is hard not to smile or laugh like a little child after seeing the Nuggets bench erupt in what is now being dubbed the ‘Italian celebration.” The kiss from Danilo is priceless.

When JaVale McGee was on the Washington Wizards, he provided us with almost weekly entertainment in the form of some sort of outrageously awful play, a boneheaded decision or some off-the-court drama. He is more successful in Denver, but you can tell there...

That jumpshot of Danilo Gallinari? Bellissimo!
The young Italian sharpshooter had 21 points in Denver’s 113-96 win over the Utah Jazz Wednesday, and he showed us how the Nuggets get down with their Italian celebration after he makes big shots.
Love the celebration, still not buying the Nuggets as a championship contender.
