As the Utah Jazz try to remedy their season-long road struggles, a visit with the winless Washington Wizards might be just what they need. The Jazz look to salvage a split of their four-game trip Saturday night when they visit a Wizards team trying to avoid a franchise-worst 0-8 start for the second consecutive season. Utah fell to 1-6 on the road with a 99-93 loss at Philadelphia on Friday night despite getting 22 points in 28 minutes from Paul Millsap. Millsap has done everything he can to help the team win on the road, averaging 25.3 points on 55.8 percent shooting and 9.3 rebounds on the trip. After hitting two more from beyond the arc Friday, he's already reached a career high with 10 3-pointers in 17 attempts. Al Jefferson, meanwhile, finished with 15 points and nine boards, but failed to reach double-digit rebounds for the first time in seven contests. It might not take one of the league's top rebounders (11.5 per game) long to pick up his seventh double-double ...

Plenty Of Questions Surround Paul Millsap

Nine games into the 2012-13 NBA season, there is a situation brewing that could have both short- and long-term ramifications for the Utah Jazz: the play of Paul Millsap.

Does John Wall have the ability to turn the Wizards season around?

GIF by Truth About It   I remember the feeling the day of the lottery, it was May 18th 2010 and the Washington Wizards won one of the biggest prizes in sports, the #1 pick in the NBA lottery. I sat in my chair with an enormous smile on my face; it was a no-brainer the Wizards were going to get John Wall. The Wizards were going to begin the process of being relevant again. The media...

The Changes that Need to be Made to Randy Wittman’s Questionable Rotations:

Now that our beloved Washington Wizards have started 0-7 my frustrations, along with every other Wizards fan, are getting close to the tipping point. Randy Wittman can’t seem to put a solid and consistent rotation on the floor on a nightly basis, so I’m going to lay one out for him that would be much more beneficial to this team and to us die-hards who have been pulling our hair...

Winless Wizards waive Pargo, sign Livingston

The winless Washington Wizards have waived Jannero Pargo and signed free-agent guard Shaun Livingston, bringing back a player they hope can help fill the void until John Wall returns from injury. Pargo appeared in all seven of Washington's games during its 0-7 start, averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.6 minutes. The 6-foot-7 Livingston was waived by the Houston Rockets...

Bird’s Rookie Year – Game 15 vs. the Jazz

Celtics (11-3) vs. Jazz (2-15) Friday, November 16 Boston Garden The pre-Jerry Sloan Jazz were no pretty sight.  Coach Tom Nissalke’s team was bad right from the stretch: Utah dropped its first four games, losing the first by 16, the second by 31, and the third by another 15 points.  The team would finish 2-18 in the month of October, with the only victories coming at the expense...

Holiday helps 76ers get past Jazz

PHILADELPHIA - The best way to give his team a shot in the arm, Jrue Holiday figured, was simply to make a shot. Holiday nailed his first four shots Friday night, and scored 18 of his 26 points in the first half, propelling the Sixers to a 99-93 victory over the Utah Jazz. Holiday also notched six points in the last 4:11, as the Sixers (5-4) kept the Jazz at bay to end a two...

Jazz send lowly Wizards to another 0-8 start

WASHINGTON -- Minutes after the Wizards' latest loss, Randy Wittman moved into position before waiting reporters and a bank of cameras. The Wizards coach paused before starting his postgame comments, staring at the final box score, literally scratching his head in apparent disbelief. Matching the ignominious record for worst start in franchise history will have that effect. ...

Pargo Bricks His Way Out of DC as Wizards Bring Back Shaun Livingston

It seems the endless tweets, posts and wishes of increased stability at the point guard position finally funneled into the Wizards front office. Free agent Shaun Livingston can now put a halt to the unemployment checks and begin his hunt for real estate in the DC metro area as the Washington Wizards have announced their acquisition of the oft-traveling veteran. It’s fair to...

The Wizards vs. Bobcats Game Had the Best Halftime Show Ever

Check out the halftime entertainment during the Washington Wizards vs. Charlotte Bobcats game this past week.  Never seen anything like it.  How is breaking a bamboo stick over your genitals entertainment?  Can't explain it, but it damn sure makes me laugh every time I watch it.  I guess the real question we should be asking these guys is how they heck do you even think about...

Celtics Locker Room Report: Jeff Green is Finally Being an A-Hole

Kevin Garnett whips a cross-court pass to Jeff Green in the weak-side corner. Green gives a slight up-fake and takes off down the lane. Now it’s time to go all-in or get shut down. Let’s go all in. Green has Al Jefferson directly in front of him with Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors surrounding him. [...]
