PLAYERS: Rajon Rondo
TEAMS: Boston Celtics
Did you hear that collective sigh of relief?  That was Celtic nation.  Jeff Green has all the tools and capabilities to do good and even great things.  This dunk was just straight up dirty by Green.  I think Al Jefferson may have filed a restraining order after it.  It was nice to finally see a mean side of Jeff Green.  Earlier during the week we heard he was too soft and nice.  He wasn't being assertive or aggressive.  How was this for aggressive? PS.  I need Rajon Rondo celebrating every thing that I do well in life.  He has the most creative celebrations I have seen in a long time.  Like when I finish a budget, I want him to come hopping into my office on one leg going HAM.  Also, I like how he knew the play before it happened being the first one off the bench.

The Streak: Rondo Breaks Assist Record

Rajon Rondo's been given an assist they missed in Milwaukee. That makes 11 for the game and thus a new NBA record 28 straight games of 11+. — Sean Grande (@SeanGrandePBP) November 14, 2012 Sean Grande has tweeted that they found a previously unreported assist for Rondo in the game against the Bucks. He was previously recorded as having 10 assists in the game and that left...

Your Morning Dump…Where Rondo has taken his game to a whole new level

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. “He works hard at his craft,” Pierce said. “It’s developing nicely over the years. I feel that with me, Kevin (Garnett) being around here, I’ve been a part of that. It’s beautiful to watch him finally...

Update: Rondo Out - Barbosa to Start

Rajon Rondo will not play tonight for the #Celtics against the #Nets and Leandro Barbosa will start in his place. — Gethin Coolbaugh (@GethinCoolbaugh) November 16, 2012 Rondo's ankle isn't serious, but they are going to be very cautious with him because he is so important to the team. No need to push him and risk further injury this early in the season. As for...

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Only 5 games into the season it is way to early to panic about this team or jump off the bandwagon. I said this at the beginning of the season we need to wait about 20 games to really judge this team and make a judgement to weather this team is going to make a title run. The good with this Celtics team in the first 2 weeks has to start at the top with the play of PG Rajon Rondo....

Raptors-Celtics Preview

The Toronto Raptors have been forced to adapt without their starting point guard, who is expected to remain out for at least another week or two. The Boston Celtics hope they don't have to wait that long for the NBA assist leader to return. Brooklyn Nets 102, Boston Celtics 97: C’s let one slip away with poor execution down the stretch

In the Celtics first game in the brand new Barclays Arena, some basketball was being played through the music being blared through the loud speakers.  The Celtics were without Rajon Rondo after his ankle sprain last night, with Leandro Barbosa starting in his place.  With the game tied 87, Brooklyn pulled away and despite the Celtics best efforts (including a dicey foul on D-Will...

Will Dwight Howard get in trouble for pulling a Rondo wearing upside down NBA logo headband?

One of our twitter readers Mike Gomez brought this pic to our attention. Interesting. Funny how Rajon Rondo isn't allowed to "disrespect" the Laker legend Jerry West, but a Laker is.  Could have just been an accident, but if he does it again the NBA better be on Howard and the Lakers. Speaking of Howard and the Lakers the damaged goods they traded, Andrew Bynum, had...

Taking Stock: Celtics – Bulls

After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value. Starters Offense:  20 points on a very efficient 10-16 shooting.  He hit 5 of 6 shots at the rim, and 5 of 8 from everywhere else inside the 3-point line.  A few of his turnovers were sloppy, but a few of his passes were spectacular. Defense:  He played the passing lanes...
