Jimmy Butler wants Mason Plumlee to pay his $2,500 fine

The next time Mason Plumlee hears the Rihanna track "B***h Better Have My Money," it will probably remind him of Jimmy Butler.

That would be understandable given that the Chicago Bulls' shooting guard has made it very public that he plans to ask the Portland Trail Blazer to pay the $2,500 fine he drummed up when the teams faced off earlier this week.

The fine stemmed from an incident in the final minutes of Tuesday's game, in which the two players got tangled up and subsequently started jawing at each other. After the two were separated and the referees reviewed the play, Plumlee was given a flagrant foul and Butler was given a technical foul — which includes a fine that Butler doesn't think he should have to pay, per ESPN:

"He cost me $2,500," Butler said. "I'm not happy about that. I'm going to ask him to pay me back — and I'm not playing."
Butler seemed more upset about the fine for the impending technical than he did about the actual play.
"He thought he was playing football for a second there," Butler said after the game. "It's all good though, man. I almost had to let the Fort Greene projects out of me, Brooklyn."

Whether Butler would actually be successful in contacting Plumlee is questionable, although Butler claimed he plans to ask nicely:

Butler said he would ask for the money "nicely" at first, before taking a dig at Plumlee, a Duke alumnus.
"I'm going to tell my agent [Happy Walters] to email him or something," Butler said. "I know [his address] is MisterDukie@yahoo.com or something."
