Being sidelined all season with a stress injury to his left patella has been extremely frustrating for former Kentucky guard John Wall. His Washington Wizards have fallen to an NBA worst 4-27 record, and all he was able to do was watch. In an interview, Wall stated he was very close to actually breaking his kneecap and was very lucky to catch the injury in time. After being initially diagnosed in late September to be out 8 weeks, he has yet to appear in a game since.
While the Wizards may need a full roster of healthy John Wall’s to pull themselves from the NBA cellar, Wall’s return will be a much needed boost to an ailing team. After having the worst start in franchise history, the Wizards play a hefty amount of their games against teams from a very strong Western Conference. By season’s end, the Wizards may be able to put themselves in position for another #1 draft pick. Could Wall and Nerlens Noel team up and make the Wizards a success?
