It’s no secret that JR Smith loves him a fresh pair of Air Jordans.  He plays in them on game days, he tweets photos of himself rocking them casually on off days, and he even gets them tattooed on his torso, when he can find the space.  Like many of today’s professional athletes, JR has a rather expansive closet solely dedicated to his beloved high tops.  On Monday afternoon he shared the above photo of his sneakers via Twitter, along with a brief description of the scene: “just a few,” read the tweet.

A few? My dude, you could stock the display shelves at three Foot Lockers!  That’s a bunch, or a sh!tload, or maybe even a f@ckton.  It’s more than a few, that’s for damn sure.

Official –Swag-O-Meter– Rating:

4/5

Most notably, the portion of JR’s collection photographed above includes nine pairs of Jordan XXs, a pair of Concord XIs, some Cement IIIs, multiple pairs of XIIs, some XIIIs, and a pair of VIs.  All of those models retailed in the $150 range, and with a total of 98 pairs pictured… I have no doubt that you’re looking at at least $11,000 in shoes.  Just in case you were wondering.

Update: According to an ESPN report published yesterday afternoon, JR Smith elected to sign with the Knicks over the Clippers because he was “financially broke.”

Coming soon to EBay: JR Smith’s shoe collection.
