Found September 01, 2012 on NBA 24/7 365:

Throughout the NBA season, Juwan Howard and Rick Ross can often be seen enjoying Miami Heat games from their courtside seats. Now, they’re storming the studio together. The recording studio.

Fourteen NBA players, including the 39-year-old Howard, have collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip hop to create what will almost certainly be the worst rap album since Lil Wayne’s most recent release.

According to The Huffington Post, Full Court Press Vol. 1 will be a clean album featuring musical acts like Rick Ross and Birdman alongside NBA players such as Carlos Boozer and Lamar Odom. Assuming they’re able to move a few copies, the proceeds will go to a nonprofit children’s organization.

Well, at least their hearts are in the right place. Not exactly sure how they plan on releasing a clean album with Trina on it, though.

Anyway, as the video mentions, Juwan’s first single is predictably entitled “Time To Ball.” Upon learning that Juwan Howard had recorded a rap song, my mind immediately begun to conjure some more appropriate titles.

Instant classic.

Wade's odd youth inspiration

Dwyane Wade reveals in his new book that he had an odd inspiration when he was young. Yup, this one will bring back the memories.

Mario Chalmers Doesn't Think Rajon Rondo Is Best Point Guard in NBA, But He'll Put Himself in Top 10

Mario Chalmers has let the world know plenty of times that he thinks he's pretty good. The way he makes it sound, he was the Heat's missing link -- the thing that got the pack of All-Stars over the top and finally hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh? Part of the team, but just as much a part of the team as Chalmers, who should be...

Mario Chalmers' giant ego lists him in the top tier of NBA point guards

I was going to do a nifty little gimmick for this piece where I started each paragraph with the name of an NBA point guard that I think is better than Miami Heat PG Mario Chalmers. Then I realized that there is no way I could write that many paragraphs unless I started making new ones halfway through every sentence. Boston Celtics PG Rajon Rondo recently said that he was the...

Dwyane Wade's inspiration as a kid, David Hasselhoff's "Knight Rider"

During this week, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade was doing the rounds on the book publicity tour for his brand new memoir called, "A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger than Basketball".As most known, Wade grew up on the tough streets of Chicago and had lived a rather trying life. In one of the passages in the book found by Ball Don't Lie, we learn that little D-Wade...

The Hoff was a mentor to Dwyane Wade

It is interesting, most experts would tell you that kids need to watch less TV, and don’t allow them to become slaves to it. The TV may have actually helped Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade from wandering down a path of destruction. Wade credits Knight Rider as being somewhat of a saving grace in his [...]

Will Former New York Knicks Reserve Josh Harrellson Become a Member of the Miami Heat?

The Miami Heat are like any other NBA team with a high payroll, they are looking to fill the end of their roster with inexpensive but talented players. In their search for a backup big man, the Miami Heat hosted 6’10″ free agent center Josh Harrellson. He had been waived by the Houston Rockets after signing shooting guard Carlos Delfino. Will Harrellson take his talents to south...
