Kawhi Leonard's awful night is behind him. The second-year star bounced back with a full stat line in a win Saturday over the Atlanta Hawks: 14 points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block. Being Leonard, he also shot well from the field (4-8) and line (4-4). He's owned in 49 percent of Yahoo leagues. In Tim Duncan's absence (DNP-OLD), Tiago Splitter continued his tear: 14 points (7-11 FG), seven rebounds and a block. Tony Parker blew up for 23 points (10-22 FG), 12 assists, four rebounds and a steal.  Matt Bonner (three-percent owned) played his most minutes of the month (23) and was efficient, hitting seven-of-eight shots and all three of his three-pointers for 17 points with five rebounds, an assist and two steals. Steer clear of him unless Duncan misses an extended period of time or you're in a deep league.

Video: Splitter's all out hustle

San Antonio Spurs' Tiago Splitter has shown marked improvement on both ends of the court. He is running the pick-and-roll to perfection, getting to the rim with authority and defensively. But what stands out more so this season for Tiago is his aggressiveness in the paint. He isn't backing down from bigger centers and finally getting into the groove of the Spurs'...

Duncan says Spurs need to improve on road

Don't think the San Antonio Spurs' 31-11 (third in the Western Conference) is pleasing enough for them, especially for Tim Duncan. They're 18-2 home record is impressive, but they've been here before. They've played well at home in recent years and they've still gotten eliminated early on in the playoffs. Duncan is also looking at the other side of the...

D-League Update: Toros players on prospect watch, Bakersfield player looking to be next 'Bowen'

Last week, D-League teams converged in Reno for the annual D-League showcase. The San Antonio Spurs affiliate Austin Toros went a perfect 2-0 at the showcase, and several Toros were mentioned in a showcase edition of the prospect watch on the league's homepage. While Cory Joseph led the Toros with just over 21 points per game in the showcase before he was called back up to...

Video: Parker attacks paint for 3-point play

Without Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker was going to be the lone star for the San Antonio Spurs and he didn't disappoint against the Atlanta Hawks. Parker had a brief moment where he saw no one protecting the rim and didn't think twice about driving for a strong layup for a three point play. Tiago Splitter also sets a great pick to bump the defender out of the...

Spurs left off All-Star starters list

Any San Antonio Spurs fans hoping to see Tim Duncan or Tony Parker starting for the Western Conference in this year’s All-Star game will be a little disappointed by the results. The starters for both conferences were announced last night. For the West, it will be Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant. For the East, it’s Dwyane Wade, Rajon...

5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Hawks

The San Antonio Spurs (31-11) will hit the road to complete the second game of a back-to-back with a visit to Atlanta to take on the Hawks (22-17) and hope to correct what's ailing the team on the road.  San Antonio is 2-7 in the last nine road games. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. The Spurs are coming off a 95-88 win over the Warriors...

The Spurs, who have dominated the series against the Warriors by winning 28 consecutive home games, were in danger of ending the longest single streak against an NBA team. Behind by as much...

Spurs-Hawks Preview

Already struggling to win on the road, the San Antonio Spurs are set to embark on a brief trip without Manu Ginobili. If last season's matchup with Atlanta and Tony Parker's recent performances there are any indication, the Spurs might overcome Ginobili's absence when they visit the potentially short-handed Hawks on Saturday night. San Antonio (31-11) has won 12 of...

Matchup of the Game: Spurs vs. Warriors

Tim Duncan and David Lee will be the matchup for tonight's game between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors. Duncan is coming off another impressive performance against the Memphis Grizzlies. He had 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks and helped carry San Antonio to a win. The Warriors will be tested with Stephen Curry's recent ankle injury so the Warriors...

Video: Parker's tricky 'and 1' vs. Warriors

Check out TP doing some havoc on the Warriors last night as he connects on a basket after the harm.

Spurs-76ers Preview

Even without two of their stars, the San Antonio Spurs took a big step toward putting their road struggles behind them. After losing seven of nine away from home, the Spurs try to make it two straight road victories and sweep the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. With Tim Duncan given the night off and Manu Ginobili out with a hamstring injury, San Antonio (32-11) won its fourth...
