Nuggets’ Kenneth Faried left Sunday’s home game against the Portland Trail Blazers in a wheel chair after suffering an apparent ankle injury. The second-year forward rolled his left ankle on a drive to the basket and was writhing on the floor in pain before being carried off the court by teammates and heading to the locker room to get X-rays. A serious injury to Faried less than a week before the playoffs would be a huge blow to the Nuggets who recently lost Danilo Gallinari to a torn ACL.
