Skip to the :52 second mark for Faried’s salty language… Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is having himself a nice little second season in Denver, averaging 12.2 points and 10.2 rebounds per game for the 21-16 Nuggets.  Faried had another stellar game on Wednesday night, dropping 19 points and grabbing 19 boards in a 108-105 win over the Orlando Magic.  It seems that Faried doesn’t keep track of his stats during the game, as evidenced by his genuine surprise at being told his statline during a post-game interview… Interviewer: “19 and 19…did you think you were going to have a night like that?” Faried: “Sh*t!  I didn’t even know—excuse me—I didn’t even know.” Great reaction by the guy known as Manimal, and an equally great reaction by the interviewer.  Faried’s surprising response to his monster game is both genuine and refreshing, especially  when you consider that he plays in a league filled with a bunch of players looking to pad their stats for the purposes of contract negotiation, awards, and personal glory.
