Beyond The Buzzer:
Last year, ESPN ranked Warriors guard, Kent Bazemore, 499th in their annual list of the NBA’s best 500 players. Well, he is now using that as motivation as he had the number ’499′ stitched into the Under Armor shoes that he wore in the 2013 Las Vegas Summer League championship game Monday.
He was known for his bench celebrations last season, but was clearly motivated during this year’s Summer League, averaging 18.4 points and 3.1 assists in 7 games, as he competes for a spot in the rotation next season. Bazemore, who also helped the Warriors become the first ever NBA Las Vegas Summer League champs, was one of five players to be named to the 2013 NBA All-Summer League Team.

Few players have opened eyes this summer like Kent Bazemore. That doesn’t mean the second-year guard out of Old Dominion is guaranteed a place in some team’s starting lineup — or even on a roster — but the Golden State Warriors’ summer league games in Las Vegas became must-watch action (as far as summer league games go) thanks to Bazemore’s exploits.

The Golden State Warriors have a problem that a lot of teams wish they had right about now.
They have a lot of talent at shooting guard, on the wing, and everyone can’t play. With the addition of Andre Iguodala, the Warriors will now probably have to shift Harrison Barnes to sixth man.
Barnes started 81 games for the Warriors during the regular season, and finally started to...

The NBA added a new twist to its Summer League by having championship games in both Orlando and Las Vegas. While some teams certainly did not take the competitive aspect as much to heart as others, it certainly added some spice to the proceedings.
And now there are two teams entering the history books. Or something.
Monday, the Golden State Warriors wrapped up an undefeated...
s a rookie last year, small forward Harrison Barnes played 81 regular-season games. All 81 of those games were starts, and he was the starter in all 12 games of the Golden State Warriors’ impressive playoff run.
That is probably going to change, though. In the offseason, the Warriors signed wing man Andre Iguodala and though Barnes said that he has not spoken to coaches yet about...
