Life is Just a Fantasy ... Basketball...:
Kevin Garnett won't be waiving the no-trade clause in his contract. That is, unless Paul Pierce is traded.
That's according to sportswriter Shaun Powell. And there's a second condition for a KG trade. He'll only go to Los Angeles because he lives in Malibu.
The Sporting News reported Sunday that the Clippers were offering Eric Bledsoe and Caron
Butler in exchange for the Big Ticket.
I had my doubts about the deal. For one thing, I couldn't imagine the Clippers
trading Bledsoe without assurances from Chris Paul that he would re-sign with the
club after this season.
Second, ESPN's Marc Stein suggested that the Celtics might ship Paul Pierce home to LA in a deal with a similar framework.
So it doesn't sound like KG is heading anywhere soon.
Told Kevin Garnett will not waive no trade unless Pierce is dealt, and then only to LA. Lives in Malibu.

Kevin Garnett discusses trade rumors. He says he's aware that it's a business and that Danny Ainge will do what's best for the Celtics. Worth a watch.

Is this team bipolar or what? The Celtics tuned up the Clippers with 59 points in the first half. The offense was crisp, efficient and just plain smart. The defense was solid and the Clippers helped by playing sloppy. The combination resulted in a 19 point halftime lead.
The second half was the exact opposite. The defense evaporated. The offense stopped. No movement. Sloppy passing...

As a friendly reminder, Kevin Garnett still has a no-trade clause.
This is not a complicated situation, really, which makes it rare in the world of NBA transactions — or in this case, non-transactions. As several reports noted last summer, Garnett secured his no-trade clause while taking a sizable pay cut, keeping him among a small minority of respected stars who cannot be dealt...

Ever wondered what it’d be like to get demolished in a game of H-O-R-S-E by a current NBA star? Well, if you live in Massachusetts, you have a chance — a slim one, but still, a chance. The state lottery has teamed with the Celtics to allow one lucky fan the chance to go toe-to-toe with Celtics star Paul Pierce for what could be the quickest game of H-O-R-S-E in basketball history...

Add the Denver Nuggets to the list of teams allegedly interested in the services of Kevin Garnett. But according to Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post – Garnett has no love for Denver:
Kevin Garnett is everything the Nuggets need. Heck, his scowl alone is more intimidating in the post than all 21 feet of center on Denver’s roster.
So what’s the problem with pushing the idea of...
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Paul Pierce scored 22 points and the Boston Celtics held off a late comeback to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 106-104 on Sunday and improve to 4-0 since losing Rajon Rondo for the season.
The Clippers had pulled within 103-101 on a 3-pointer by Eric Bledsoe with 56 seconds remaining. But Avery Bradley drew an offensive foul on Los Angeles' Jamal Crawford...
Some good stuff. Hilarious that a team with Chris Paul on it complains about flops. The refs missed stuff both ways so saying they were playing 5 on 8 didn't fly. Just listen to a replay of Tommy last night saying how much he hates Eli Roe. For thinking the Celtics are terrible they sure were coveting KG and PP and Doc pretty hard. And I'm starting to think...
