Kenny Kadji from the U, is a 6’11” 242 pounder with some offensive skills that would make you giggle with joy if you drafted him. From Cameroon, and already at the age of 25 years old, Kenny is projected to go in the 2nd round of this years NBA draft. Why so late in the draft? Probably because Kenny is already in his mid 20’s and he is not known as a banger in the paint eating up rebounds like he should. Some would compare him to a Brian Cook or a Bernard James, but crazy to say this, but I see a little bit of Paul Pierce in his shooting form. NBADraft.net Strengths: High release on his shot with range out to the 3 point line, can draw the defense away from the paint … Can put the ball on the floor and get opponents off balance due to the threat of his jump shooting … Shows solid touch near the rim, with fadeaway shots that with his length are very tough to defend. Weaknesses: While he did display some improvement, his post game was still very limited and he tended to avoid contact … Not a great offensive rebounder and at best average on the defensive glass as well … Rarely used his athleticism to make cuts or plays near the basket. A 6’11” perimeter shooter is not what the Knicks are looking for, however you can’t teach height. If you can find a guy that shoots like this and you can teach him to bang a little in the paint, then you got something to work with. Some question his lack of concentration, but to be honest with you, many players who drop in the draft are accused of the same thing. There is always a possibility a team like the Knicks could buy a 2nd rounder and find a steal like Kenny Kadji. You never know what you are going to get with a 2nd rounder. Stephen A Smith is Still Talking

Stephen A Smith loves to talk. I know, tell you something you don't know. Recently he's been talking a lot about Doc Rivers. A couple of weeks ago, Stephen A was predicting a trade of KG, Paul Pierce AND Doc to the Clippers. Um. I'm trying to remember the last time a coach was traded. None come to mind. Of course he probably meant that the Clippers would trade...

Why the Window Just Might Not Be Closed

Some are using the Celtics' first round exit this year as proof that the window that was opened when the trades for Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen were made is closed. With the window closed, they reason that it's time to blow the team up and begin the rebound. But maybe it would be wiser to wait one more season. Of course, that decision, as with everything else this off...

CSNNE’s Sherrod Blakely is the latest to report on the thoughts in Doc Rivers’ head: A league source told CSNNE.com on Monday that Rivers’ decision on whether he will return will not be based solely on whether Paul Pierce and/or Kevin Garnett are back in next season. Spurs face serious questions about Manu's minutes

During the NBA Finals, John Karalis of Red's Army will be contributing to Project Spurs during the San Antonio Spurs' chase for title number five.   It was tough to watch, but I’ve seen it happen before.  In fact, the memory is fresh in my head.    San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili spent much of last night’s Game 2 chasing after a ball that was...
