J.R. Smith is having himself one terrific 2012-13 season so far, averaging an impressive 16.6 points coming off the bench for the Knicks, and earning significant buzz as a potential Sixth Man of the Year Award candidate.  Oh yeah, and he’s also capable of flawlessly executing one-handed reverse alley-oops like they’re nobody’s business. Smith took a waist level pass from Pablo Prigioni late in the Knicks win over the Spurs Thursday night and turned what looked to be a rather pedestrian dime from Prigioni into one of the more prodigious dunks of the season.  Smith’s reverse one-hander put the Knicks up by 20 at that point, as they cruised to the 100-83 victory.  The 27-year-old finished the game with 20 points and 5 rebounds to go along with his jaw-dropping dunk, making his night the complete opposite of Spurs forward Stephen Jackson, whose only highlight reel play in the game was tripping over Mayor Bloomberg’s waitress and spraining his ankle. One-handed reverse alley-oops are much sexier in GIF form… [GIF via] The post Knicks guard J.R. Smith throws down a stunning one-handed reverse alley-oop appeared first on Last Angry Fan.
