Raymond Felton suffered a bone bruise in his thumb on Sunday.  He was wearing a guard over his thumb after the game, and there was some concern about his ability to play in the next few games for the New York Knicks.  However, Felton is expected to play tonight.  And Jason Kidd could be back as well. Ian Begley of ESPN New York reports that Felton will play despite the injury, and Kidd could return.  Kidd has missed the Knicks' last four games with back spasms, but Begley says coach Mike Woodson has called Kidd probable for tonight's match-up against the Charlotte Bobcats.  As for Felton, he knows it's going to hurt, but he wants to, and will, play."It's going to be tough, but I'm going to play," said Felton. Felton is averaging 33.3 minutes per game as the Knicks go-to point guard.  So far this season, he is averaging 15.1 points per game and 6.8 assists per game.  Felton is a scoring point guard, so he can help the team both with his ability to find the open man and with his ability to create shots. Kidd is 39 years old and has been relegated to a back-up role.  He is averaging 26.1 minutes per game. Kidd is also averaging 8.0 points per game and 3.4 assists per game. Both Felton and Kidd allow the Knicks more freedom with their offense.  As long as Felton can play tonight, he will not have missed any games due to the injury.
