The Milwaukee Bucks dropped to 7-6 on the season after a blowout loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night. The final score was 102-88.
The story line on this one is pretty simple. The Knicks can make 3′s. This leads to lots of floor space, and open shots for the bigs. Makes life easy. Steve Novak killed them. The Bucks unfortunately, cannot shoot 3′s that well, which makes everything more difficult .
The Knicks shot 11/21 from the 3 point line, while the Bucks shot 5/13 (this is actually one of the Bucks better performances – yikes).
This one was never really close. Bucks were down 20 plus midway throught the third, and never made a run. Lots of stupid passes by the Bucks. Dalembert has a tendency to try some no look ******** passes, and they never go well. Carmelo Anthony was pretty much unstoppable. The Bucks starting unit just isn’t in sync. The bench is playing better. McGlocklin was calling for stops, but the goddamn Bucks couldn’t get stops. The only bright spot w...

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- When the Milwaukee Bucks started storming back Monday, minds of many within the United Center flashed back to three years prior.
On Dec. 9, 2009, Chicago blew a 35-point third quarter lead and fell to the Sacramento Kings, 102-98. Monday night, the Bucks trailed the Bulls by 27 in the third and rallied to win 93-92.
Together they are two of the most humiliating...
Current Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni says he regrets his decision to leave the Phoenix Suns in 2008 to coach the New York Knicks.
The Milwaukee Bucks' reserves are playing with quite a bit of confidence.
That doesn't come at a good time for the New York Knicks, who are looking to snap a three-game losing streak on the road.
The Bucks try to keep things rolling on the heels of their huge comeback victory as the Knicks visit Wednesday night in a battle of first-place teams.
After coach Scott Skiles...
MILWAUKEE -- Before his team hosted the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles wasn't shy about what the Bucks had to do in order to win their second consecutive game. In short, the Bucks had to find a way to keep Carmelo Anthony in check. The plan didn't work as well as Milwaukee had hoped. Anthony scored 29 points and pulled down eight rebounds...
Aside from the Knicks' own resident Brooklyn boy Carmelo Anthony, there was perhaps no other Knickerbocker looking forward to Monday's matchup with the Nets more than Jason Kidd. After being the leader of such New Jersey Nets squads that went head to head with the Knicks in the early 2000's, Kidd understands exactly what the rivalry is all about. He understands how much...
MILWAUKEE -- Carmelo Anthony drove to the basket for an easy layup in the second half and then glanced back at his defender with a giant smile. It was almost like his face read, "that was easy."
It was just one of those nights for the Milwaukee Bucks.
In a game that the Bucks could have made a statement on their home floor, they instead fell flat on their face. And for...
MILWAUKEE -- Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points and had eight rebounds as the New York Knicks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 102-88 Wednesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Steve Novak, who grew up in the Milwaukee area, played collegiately at Marquette, had one of his best games of the young season, finishing with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting while going 5 of 7 from beyond the...
Amar'e Stoudemire has gone from punching a fire extinguisher last season to reportedly saying he is willing to pack a punch off of the New York Knicks’ bench this season.
It depends how his injured left knee responds over the course of at least the next two weeks. Then it is on.
Or is it?
Believe it or not, a sixth-man role for Stoudemire just might be the final...
Back spasms prevented Jason Kidd from playing in the first inter-borough battle last night between the Knicks and Nets at the Barclay’s Center. Kidd, who’s had back issues in the past, didn’t even attend the game. At 39, Kidd is the league’s 3rd oldest player, so this could be just the first of many lingering injuries for the 18-year veteran this season.
According to Newsday...
Mike D’Antoni helped turn the Phoenix Suns into a championship contender before abruptly leaving for the New York Knicks after the 2008 season, and now the current Lakers coach says he regrets making the move. D’Antoni led the Suns to the playoffs four straight seasons. They even made back-to-back appearances in the Western Conference Finals, and I’ll argue if it weren’t...
The whispers have already started about New York’s awesome start to the season and how that ties into Amare’s return from his injury.
It seems they’ve found a system and its flow is effective, to say the least. But where does that leave Stoudemire and his starting role? An anonymous source in New York says that he’s fine with the idea of coming off the bench….
