Dallas Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd, a free agent, and his agent met with New York Knicks president Donnie Walsh and coach Mike D'Antoni at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday. Here's a link to an Associated Press story. The DMN's Eddie Sefko reports that Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is very optimistic about his meeting with the free-agent point guard, which occured just after midnight Wednesday in New York.
