That NBA Lottery Pick:
Earlier today, the NBA officially announced that the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend would be coming to New York City and split between the Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center.
New York Knicks owner James Dolan was on hand for the event and when asked a question about his meeting with David Stern and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov regarding the event, Dolan provided an interesting answer:
#Knicks owner James Dolan on what he got out of the meeting set up by David Stern between he and #Nets Mikhail Prokhorov: "Free lunch."

Let’s be honest, free lunches are awesome…

The New York Knicks couldn’t let us just coast into training camp next week, right? Right. In a surprising move, the team announced they are demoting GM Glen Grunwald to “advisor” AKA moving him to a cabin in New Hampshire and promoting team executive Steve Mills in his place. Why oh why and what does this mean?
Speculation is running rampant about the implications of the...
The most talented scorers Carmelo Anthony has played with in his career are J.R. Smith and Allen Iverson. Iverson came to the Nuggets after his prime and J.R. Smith has been wildly inconsistent throughout his career. Neither player’s game complemented Anthony’s very well.
After 10 seasons, Andrea Bargnani could be the 2nd scorer Anthony has needed beside him...
This off-season certainly has been eventful for J.R. Smith. After signing a four-year $24.5 million dollar contract, wait ummm, rather three-year $17.95 million dollar contract to stay in blue and orange this upcoming season, it was soon discovered that he would be undergoing surgery to repair a damaged patella tendon and a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. The deal actually...
The Knicks have rehired Steve Mills to be their general manager It’s alright New York Knicks fans, the rehiring that will be taking place won’t have the name Isiah Thomas attached to him. Instead, the Knicks have announced that they will be replacing Glen Grunwald with former president and general managers, Steve Mills. Via ESPN: The New York Knicks on Thursday announced the...
Starting last season, the inside collar of all New York Knicks jerseys read “Once A Knick, Always A Knick.” Judging by the way they move players around, this statement couldn’t be any further from the truth. Unfortunately, it sometimes means that legendary Knicks are forced to suit up as an opponent in Madison Square Garden. This was perfectly exemplified when a certain number...
The New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets have made it a point to proclaim their dominance over the city this offseason. In 2015 both teams will have to share the city.
On Wednesday the NBA is set to announce that the Knicks and Nets will co host the 2015 NBA All Star Game. It will be the first All Star Game played in New York since 1998.
Outgoing NBA commissioner, David Stern...
The Knicks @ Nite crew and important Knickswag contributors have thought night and day about who the most important Knick could be. We all have come up with some great insight into this subject, so let’s skip the bloviating and get right to it… Enjoy.
Peter Arturi –
The idea that one player could be more important than the team concept is maddening to me. Assuming Melo picks...
NEW YORK (AP) -- The Knicks and Nets are working together to split the NBA All-Star weekend in New York City in 2015.
The game will be played at Madison Square Garden and the slam dunk contest and other skills events held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Wednesday's announcement completes about two years of planning, an idea brought to the teams by the league to share the...
Back on Wednesday, NBA commissioner David Stern was announcing the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets would be co-hosting the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend at a press conference.
Sadly for David, he had a tiny slip-up by saying that the Nets were based in New York instead of Brooklyn:
To defend Mr. Stern, the Nets did play in New York from 1968-1977.
David Stern says New York...
Since staring at the schedule isn’t making the 2013-14 season get any closer, TOK is breaking down the New York Knicks’ games by division . We continue with the Southeast Division.
Last Year: The Knicks won 3 out of 4 over the Champs, including two 20 point victories.
This Year: Home – January 9th (TNT), February 1st (ESPN), Away – February 27th (TNT), April...
Starting point guard Raymond Felton believes being the oldest team in NBA history last season was an interesting distinction but ultimately cost the Knicks a chance at a title. Felton said the Knicks have a greater chance of success in 2013-14 because they have become younger.
Felton pointed to the elderly bench of Rasheed Wallace Kurt Thomas Marcus Camby and Jason Kidd who fell...
Just one year after re-branding and moving the franchise to Brooklyn, the Nets co-host the 2015 All-Star Weekend alongside the New York Knicks. According to ABC, the NBA commissioner David Stern and his counterpart Adam Silver announced the official host of the 2015 All-Star Weekend on Wednesday. The All-Star Game will be held at Madison […]

The New York Knicks have signed center Cole Aldrich, a former lottery pick who has struggled in the NBA.
Aldrich played last season for Houston and Sacramento, averaging 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 45 games.
The 6-foot-11 Aldrich was drafted by New Orleans with the 11th pick in 2010 after three seasons at Kansas, where he helped the Jayhawks win the 2008 national championship...
The Trail Blazers still have not forgiven Raymond Felton.
Felton is now a productive point guard for the Knicks, but two years ago he kind of, sort of, pretty much quit on the Blazers. In Portland unwillingly as a result of three-team trade involving a batch of role players, Felton coasted his way to more than $7.5 million in the 2011-12 season while career lows of 11.4 points per...
