The Los Angeles Lakers scored 67 points in the first half Friday night, coasted through the third quarter, and laughed their way through the fourth as they trounced the visiting Denver Nuggets 104-90. Kobe Bryant led the L.A. attack with a game high 29 points, but he also had lots of help as center Andrew Bynum, sixth man Lamar Odom, and forward Pau Gasol all had big games as well.

Game 13: Nuggets @ Lakers
(Boulder-CO) I was hoping last night's Lakers vs. Suns game would go into quadruple overtime so Kobe wouldn't have had the luxury of watching the fourth quarter from the bench. Unfortunately, L.A. blackened out the Suns easily, 105-92. The Lakers are now 9-1 and can still boast the league's ...
Lakers Survive Bulls Fourth Quarter Stampede Win 116-109
Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol scored a game high 34 points, and his team withstood a fourth quarter surge by the Chicago Bulls to win Tuesday night 116-109. Chicago was able to cut the Lakers lead to single digits, but the team from Los Angeles kept the upper hand, and held on for the [...]
Comments from the Other Side - Pistons
Here's to back-to-back wins vs elite teams! Wish Garnett would've gotten suspended for this game, haha. They made sure he was back for this one. If we beat them, we gotta do it in style especially with garnett present. For the most part, the Celts bigs feast on timid players (i.e.- Pau Gasol ...

Eight Lakers Score In Double-Digits, Beat Kings 118-108
The Los Angeles Lakers, in their game against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, came very close to giving the game away, due to their sloppy ballhandling and questionable transition defense; but as usually the case with the Lakers, they overcame those deficiencies with some decent shooting - 51.7% from the floor - which helped [...]
Shaq’s New Twitter Page Is Completely Insane
Apparently, someone decided it would be funny to make Twitter posts pretending to be Shaquille O'Neal. Apparently, the Big Aristotle got wind of this and wasn't pleased. But he decided to take the proactive approach and start Twittering himself (which sounds gross). As found by ALANA G - his ...
TNT Employs Current Players To Insult Barkley In New Commercial
The new line of TNT Basketball ads, while very similar to the Monday/Sunday Night Countdown crew ads, are still pretty funny. The premise is that Charles Barkley is being questioned in a congressional'esqe hearing and certain people speak out against him. Those individuals are none other than Shaquille O'Neal, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant....Very well done, and I think...
Reality Check Received
(AP Photo/Mark J. Terrill)(Boulder-CO) Things weren't completely terrible in the Nuggets, 104-90, loss to the Lakers, but there were three things really irked me in the first half. First off, Denver's defense in the first 24 minutes was deplorable. I thought complete defensive lapses like last ...

It's time for the first Lakers, Suns match up of the 2008-2009 season and the anticipation is palpable. If you are a Suns fan you know what is going on with the home town team but what about the "Lake Show"?Seems as if LA media can't let go of the Kobe Shaq feud. So much [...]
