Oh, man. Leave it to the New Orleans Hornets to be the only team that make these Lakers look like a decent defensive team. Way to blow a 25 point lead late in the second half and then score only 9 points in the 4th quarter, Hornets. That will definitely be enough to hold off the Lakers. While your plan was flawed, it almost worked, until you decided to defend the wrong side of the court and give Kobe, two easy points to seal the game. Good job, good effort.

Kobe Bryant was not having the kind of day that he wanted. He was hurting. He was probably tired (pretty safe assumption). He was a likely a little disappointed too after losing against the Oklahoma City Thunder and falling back below .500 rather than climb above it for the first time in months.
It has to be annoying that someone would bother to steal right off is back rather...
Kobe Bryant hit the tying 3-pointer with 5 seconds left in regulation, then dunked for the go-ahead basket with 10 seconds left in overtime, helping the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors 118-116 on Friday night for their second straight come-from-behind win.
Two nights after rallying from 25 points down to win on the road at New Orleans, the Lakers came back from a 15...
The Lakers faced off against the the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. The Lakers gave it a good fight making it a close game in the fourth quarter. But a a three pointer from Serge Ibaka started a 12-0 run for the Thunder. Following the game, Kobe Bryant tweeted a message to Russell Westbrook who had a double-double in the match up, scoring 37 points and grabbing 10 rebounds...
All season long the MVP has appeared to be LeBron James's to lose with Kevin Durant destined to come in second yet again. However, if the Los Angeles Lakers make the post season the award needs to go to Kobe Bryant.
But FatMan, the MVP is a team award so why should the Lakers playoff future matter?
Have you watched these guys play lately? If they make the post season it...
The New Orleans Hornets blew a 25-point lead and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 108-102 Wednesday. After committing supremely idiotic plays like this one, you can’t help but say they deserved to lose.
The Lakers faked out the Hornets on an inbounds play with 25.5 seconds left in the game by lining up on the side of the court they were defending, not the one they were attacking...
Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard clarified his comments Wednesday made about his former team after former teammates Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick and Rashard Lewis fired back. Howard told KCAL-TV in L.A. that “my team in Orlando was a team full of people who nobody wanted, and I was the leader and I led that team with a smile on my face.” Following the Lakers' 108-102...
Led by Kobe Bryant on offense and Dwight Howard on defense, the Lakers (31-31) stormed back from a 25-point deficit to defeat the stunned Hornets, 108-102. A loss would have been devastating to their goal of reaching the playoffs, but the purple and gold dugged deep and got themselves within a game and a half of the spiraling Jazz for the 8th spot in the west.
Kobe Bryant paid a visit to the Jimmy Kimmel show last night and touched on a wide variety of topics including his Twitter game and even Dennis Rodman’s recent ‘goodwill’ trip to North Korea. It should also be noted that Kobe wore the below shoes to the taping.

Kobe Bryant's clutch scoring saved the Lakers from what could have been an embarrassing loss in a game they needed to win.
Bryant scored 13 of his 42 points during a 20-0 run in the last 6:22 of the fourth quarter, and Los Angeles overcame a 25-point deficit to fend off the New Orleans Hornets, 108-102 on Wednesday night.
The Hornets were still ahead by 21 in the final minute...
Would any Lakers teammate dare doubt Bryant's playoff prediction?
If so, he guarantees one thing to Jimmy Kimmel.
