Jocks and Stiletto Jill:
Dwight Howard is still out for the Lakers dealing with his re-injured shoulder- he is however with the team – but no superstar center, no problem, Earl Clark and Pau Gasol have stepped in to save the day. Check out this half court inbounds pass from Mamba Johnson (that’s Kobe Bryant for the uninformed) to Earl Clark with .4 left in the second quarter.
What a way to end the half. Best Lakers .4 shot since DFish against the Spurs. And I should add that Kobe went into the half with 4 assists.

The halftime show at the Super Bowl generally receives a mixed reaction from fans, but the reviews for Beyonce’s performance on Sunday were mostly positive.

Otherwise, who knows how this game would have ended for the Lakers.Coming off a should’ve-won loss in Phoenix, the Lakers arrived in Minnesota still without a road win in 2013 and without Dwight Howard.
