Kobe Bryant gave Blake Griffin some interesting advice on how to prevent getting fouled so much. Griffin was on Conan O'Brien's late-night talk show last night promoting NBA 2K13 when the red-haired host asked him if he could do anything about getting fouled less during games. The Clippers' talented forward received some unusual advice from his cross-town rival, Bryant. "Kobe gave me some advice, I don't think I can really say the real advice, but basically he told me to punch everybody," said Griffin. "He said, 'fight somebody one time and it'll all stop happening.'" Griffin admitted that it wasn't great advice from Bryant, but he did appreciate it. David Stern may not appreciate the advice so much though. Griffin is an imposing player at 6-foot-10, 250-pounds, so he could do some damage with one swing of the fist. At least we know that if Griffin does ever get up and "punch someone in the face," he&#...

Zach Randolph takes down Blake Griffin on dirty play (Video)

The beef between Zach Randolph and Blake Griffin that was evident during the playoffs last season carried over into the 2012-2013 season. Randolph and Griffin tussled several times while going for rebounds during the season-opening game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. In the play seen above, Randolph just took down Griffin during the fourth quarter...

Kobe day-to-day as Lakers prep to open season

EL SEGUNDO, CA -- What would a Laker season be without some Kobe Bryant drama at some point? This year it came a bit earlier than the team and its fans expected. Content with his newly rebuilt team of Dwight Howard, Steve Nash and Antawn Jamison, Bryant seemed very happy throughout the preseason, averaging 20.4 points, 4.8 rebound and 3.4 assists in just 28 minutes per game. While...

Zach Randolph Suplex on Blake Griffin (Video)

The Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers clearly have some bad blood between them, but that in no way excuses the actions of Zach Randolph here.  What he did to Griffin flagrant and dangerous.  Randolph can’t even pretend like it was an accident or something that occurred during the play, it was just blatantly illegal.I would expect a fine coming, especially because it...

Steve Nash's Bruised Knee, Kobe Bryant's Strained Foot Are Hardly Reasons Enough to Bury Lakers Already

We do not come to bury the Lakers. We do not quite come to praise them, either. Now that everyone knows the Lakers are not going to go 82-0, the most popular NBA parlor game has become dismissing their championship hopes entirely. To be sure, their start has been awful, both on paper and on the court. Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard entered the season with injuries concerns and...

Lakers Struggle Again…Drop To 0-2

Dwight Howard is fouled as he goes up for a dunk. The Lakers got huge games from both Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant, but turnovers and bad defense did them in again, as they dropped to 0-2 on the young season, with a 116-106 loss in Portland. For the second straight night, the Lakers floundered and flailed, and were again unable to mount any real consistent play in dropping yet...
