KOBE REFLECTS ON “BUTTER KNIVES” KWAME BROWN & SMUSH PARKER!

With NBA in a state of limbo behind this disruptive lockout, there is plenty of time for reflection by its players. Los Angeles Lakers superstar KOBE BRYANT took a moment during a recent presser to reflect on his lean years before PAU GASOL arrived in L.A. when he had “butter knives” KWAME BROWN and SMUSH PARKER on the team… Bryant explains how former Laker Kwame Brown told Kobe not to pass him the ball for fear he would be fouled and unable to make free throws…while he was posting up three feet from the hoop! And Kobe doesn’t even wanna go there with talking about clueless former guard Smush Parker…obviously that would take up the entire press conference! Brown and Parker are specifically who Bryant was referring to when he made the statement that he was “going into a gunfight with a pair of rusty butter knives” when the Lakers acquired Pau Gasol in 2008, thereby spawning Bryant to say, “I now have some guns” to play with...
