In short, the article has a bunch of great insights about The Beard punctuated with an assortment of disses of The Bay, The Town, The City, the Dubs—our whole damn setup. But, there's an old saying that I just made up: You ain't a player unless you're getting hated on. And if the LA Times' shiny new sports columnist has stooped so low as to bashing the megalopolis to the north, then we should all take a moment to congratulate one another for getting under the smug purple skin of at least one professional Laker fan.
