Found December 04, 2012 on 5TH QUARTER MAGAZINE:
The Lakers are struggling.  There are some lingering injuries that have really hurt the entire scope of the team, especially at the point guard position.  Both Steve’s, Blake and Nash, have been sidelined due to some injuries they have sustained.  Steve Blake has missed the last 10 games for the Lakers and will miss another six to eight weeks after undergoing laparoscopic surgery.  The surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, December 5th. The Los Angeles Lakers have been relying on the young Darius Morris to handle the point guard position.  He has not shown consistency with the ball and so Kobe Bryant has been taking on some point guard duties.  With Kobe barking out signals and directing traffic, he is doing too much, which has really hurt the team.  The Lakers are anticipating the return of Steve Nash and hope that cures their early-season ailments. As for now, Steve Blake will not return to the court until the middle of January and possibly later.
