The Lakers did a little team building this past Thursday by taking a trip to the movies to see Steven Spielberg’s latest historical epic, Lincoln.  While Pau Gasol tweeted his admiration for the film that chronicles a monumental period in American history, Jordan Hill didn’t share Gasol’s enthusiasm, saying he fell asleep 8 times during the movie.  Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant used the Lakers’ trip to the theater to get a crack in on his teammates during a media session. Via ESPN Lakers beat writer Dave McMenamin… Pretty good zinger by Kobe, but I can almost guarantee that there were more than a few Lakers seriously questioning why Spielberg left out Lincoln’s zombie killing skills.

For Some Reason, the Lakers Seem Intent On Keeping Pau Gasol

The Lakers certainly have been a lightning rod team of sorts for most of their history, but more so in this past offseason than at any other time in recent memory.
