With his playing time diminished, the Milwaukee Bucks have sent rookie guard Doron Lamb to the D-League. Lamb, who practiced with the Bucks on Saturday, will join the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Sunday and will join the team for their upcoming road trip to Los Angeles and Bakersfield. Finding a niche in the Bucks' rotation in late November, Lamb averaged 15.9 minutes per game during a 15 game stretch, mainly because guard Beno Udrih was out with a sprained right ankle. Lamb has played just five total minutes in the Bucks' last nine games and has been inactive in six of those games. Taken 42nd overall in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Bucks out of Kentucky, Lamb is averaging 3.4 points per game. It's been an up-and-down season for Lamb, as he's shown signs of his talent but also has suffered through a severe shooting slump. Over a stretch in late-December, Lamb went through an 0-for-18 shooting slump that played a role in his departure from the rotation. With Udrih back and Marquis Daniels available off the bench to play at shooting guard, Lamb is better off getting minutes with Fort Wayne. Follow Andrew Gruman on Twitter.
