So I'm sitting here watching the Bulls game and its tied 97-97. It's been a hard-fought game against the Knicks (by hard-fought I mean poor defense and a lot of running and jacking up bad shots) and Larry Hughes gets a good look at a 3-pointer with just under a minute in the game. He shoots, he scores! The Bulls go up 100-97. The Knicks come down the court and miss a layup. Then the Bulls go back the other way and take a shot and...Larry Hughes gets the offensive rebound! What a sequence for Larry Hughes, he is playing great when the Bulls need it. the Knicks make a quick foul and the camera pans to the crowd and who do we see? It's Vice President-Elect Joe Biden with a goofy smirk on his face. (Apologies for the bad picture, I took it with my phone off the TV). He seems pretty damn proud of Hughes. Maybe that's what Hughes has needed all along, the approval of a father figure. Why can't that father figure be Jumpin' Joe Biden....
