From the outset, this season seemed like any other season in the past couple of years. High expectations, but the team always fall short with lots of turmoil, drama and most importantly a lot of “L’s.” But things were in motion for this year especially when the team was sold and bought by an owner who seems willingly to spend money and get some good players. Not at all surprising, but Monta Ellis and Steph Curry have meshed better than expected making an unbelievable and dynamic back-court. Might I even dare say that they are one of the best back-courts in the league? And Monta is for sure an All-Star this year, even if they do not vote him just like last year. He lead all scorers during exhibition games and is currently third in the league, only behind Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant.

New arrivals like David Lee, Dorell Wright, and Reggie White have contributed nicely and seem to fit in well with their new team. Wright scored a career high, 32 points against the Atlanta Hawks last Wednesday as they failed to continue their winning streak to four.

As the calendar year comes to an end, the Warriors head off to Charlotte to finish off the year with a win. Ex-Warrior Stephen Jackson will meet his old team.

Everyone have a safe and happy new year! Wish for a better year and a great season for the Warriors. Happy New Year!
