Los Angeles Clippers
Portland Trail Blazers
New Orleans Pelicans
This is a big week for the Clippers, as their search for a new coach ramps up with interviews with four potential candidates, according to several NBA executives who were not authorized to speak publicly on the situation.
Indiana Pacers associate head coach Brian Shaw was at the Clippers practice facility Monday meeting with the front office, which was confirmed by Mike Martinez of FOXSportsWest.com.
Shaw is expected have dinner with Clippers owner Donald Sterling on Monday night.
The Clippers then have a scheduled interview Tuesday with former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Byron Scott. Scott, who still has one year left on his contract that pays him 4 million after he was fired by the Cavaliers, coached Chris Paul when both were with the New Orleans Hornets.
Memphis Coach Lionel Hollins will come in for an interview with the Clippers on Wednesday, also confirmed by Martinez. Hollins has been given permission by the Grizzlies to speak with other teams despite his contract not expiring until the end of the month.
And former Portland Trail Blazers coach Nate McMillan remains in the mix. McMillan is scheduled to interview with the Clippers on Thursday.
The executives said the plan is for all the candidates to visit the Clippers offices and then meet with Sterling.
Shaw also has drawn interest from the Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets, according to reports.
Hollins also has the Nuggets after him, and the Grizzlies remain interested in bringing him back as well, according to reports.

Well, Chauncey Billups' reign as the NBA's undisputed best teammate sure didn't last long.
Less than 24 hours after winning the first-ever Twyman Stokes Teammate of the Year Award, Chauncey appeared on ESPN's First Take and offered some not-so-selfless comments about his Clippers teammate Blake Griffin. Billups did refute the notion that Blake Griffin is "soft...
There is no better way to celebrate winning an award for being a good teammate than by throwing one of your teammates under the bus.
All right, so that is kind of a harsh way to describe what Chauncey Billups said about Blake Griffin on Monday, after the Clippers guard was named the inaugural winner of the NBA’s Twyman-Stokes Teammates of the Year award. Billups, appearing as a...
Chauncey Billups appeared on ESPN this morning to talk about the NBA Finals, his future in the NBA, and his Clippers teammate Blake Griffin.
When the conversation of Griffin came up, Billups didn’t hold his tongue. He stated that Griffin is extremely talented, and even though he doesn’t think Griffin is soft, he is “too nice on the court.”
“I don’t agree that Blake...
Chauncey Billups refused to say Blake Griffin is soft, but he admitted his Los Angeles Clippers teammate has been too nice on the court over the past two seasons.
"I don't agree that Blake Griffin is soft. But what I will say about Blake is that he's maybe too nice of a guy," Billups said. "Because there's been times in games where people take shots at...

The newest installment of Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” segment featured NBA players and broadcasters who receive Twitter hate. The Twitter vitriol included two accusations of bestiality, a valid question of Shaq’s Buick commercial and a link between Chris Paul and Michael Jackson. Some of the NBA personalities vehemently disagreed with the Tweets, while other begrudgingly...
This news is going to disappoint bench cheerleaders like Ronny Turiaf and Robert Sacre, both men have put in too much work to be overlooked in such flagrant fashion.

It seems, perhaps, that theres no such thing as too many awards.
Reports began to circulate on Friday that the NBA would be adding one more award to its yearly cadre of honors, and on Sunday, the speculation as to what said award would entail ended. NBA.coms Steve Aschburner reported that it is the Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award, and that it will be presented before Sundays...
Chauncey Billups has won the NBA's inaugural Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year award.
"What better way to honor the life-long bond that developed between Jack Twyman and Maurice Stokes than by naming this award after them," said NBA Commissioner David Stern. "The Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award recognizes friendship and selflessness among teammates and...
