All Things Nuggets:
Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson said he will play in tomorrow night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing the team’s game on Friday against Toronto.
“It’s a big game and I want to be ready for it,” said Lawson today after practice. “I’m pretty optimistic, I’m feeling a lot better. We’ll see how it goes tomorrow.”
Lawson, who will be matched up against one of the NBA’s best point guards in L.A.’s Chris Paul, said driving to his right remains difficult.
“It’s kind of hard for me to turn that way,” said Lawson, who averages 15.7 points and 6.5 assists per game. It will be the first time the Nuggets have their normal starting five available to them since the Jan. 17 game at Milwaukee.
