It’s not often that we here get to be close enough to basketball royalty. Thanks to Nike Philippines, it’s legit. LeBron James is in the same zip code as I am. With the assistance of so many people, I got the chance to be in the same room as the King. Although the press guidelines stated that the media present cannot ask any questions, it was alright. At least the player did not say it, ala James Harden at the Drew. He would then visit the Nike Park at a particular location, where last week, people were spending a couple of days braving the conditions, lining up for free tickets (of course, the entrepreneurial aspect was in full bloom, as these free tickets were being sold at as much as $250). The last portion is at the Mall of Asia Arena, where what you see on the clip happened. I had a blast. And so did around 11,000 other people. I hope he did as well.
