Lebron is clearly en route to his 4th MVP trophy.
BEST OF MAXIM
Things are going swimmingly for the Miami Heat now winners of 27 games in a row. Their latest victim was the lowly Orlando Magic but against the Bobcats, Dwayne Wade couldn't help but ham it up for the camera and interview his teammate LeBron James.
After the Heat's 109-77 pummeling of the Bobcats, Wade took the mic from Heat reporter Jason Jackson and interviewed James...
It would have been ironic had the worst team in the NBA (sorry Charlotte but the record does not lie) beat arguably the best team in the NBA and put an end to their epic winning streak.
That, of course, did not happen.
What did happen was Dwayne Wade got the day off and LeBron James threw down another massive jam after a half court pass from Norris Cole.
LeBron James was called for a flagrant foul Wednesday during the Miami Heat’s game against the Chicago Bulls after putting a shoulder and elbow into Carlos Boozer, who was setting a screen on him late in the game.
James’ forceful shoulder into Boozer seemed to be retaliation for getting hit in the head on his team’s previous possession. He was called for a flagrant-1 foul,...

The Miami Heat needed a clutch shot by LeBron James to beat the Orlando Magic earlier this month to keep their staggering winning streak going.
Injuries to the Magic's top two scorers will likely keep that from happening this time.
James and the Heat will try to avoid some recent early struggles in order to make things easier on themselves Monday...
With a rather slow day in sports, I'm thankful that Miami Heat star LeBron James is here to show off his aerial exploits.
In the third quarter of Monday night's game against the Orlando Magic, LeBron took a pass from Mario Chalmers and threw down an impressive one-handed dunk:
LeBron James gave Chris Bosh the night off from acting goofy and interrupting teammate interviews with wacky antics, when he hilariously videobombed Ray Allen following the Heat’s 108-94 victory over the Magic. That’s 27 wins in a row for those of you counting at home, and only six from tying the Lakers’ record of 33 wins in a row.
If the Heat fail to break, or even tie, the...

There have been no dramatic half-court shots hit during the NCAA tournament, so an Oklahoma City Thunder fan had to step up in March Madness’ absence.
As long as we’re comparing Justin Dougherty‘s dramatic $20,000 shot to March Madness, that makes Kevin Durant the walk-on benchwarmer who’s sole responsibility is to celebrate as much as possible. Durant jumped on Dougherty...
The Miami Heat won game #26 in a row against the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday beating them 109-77 in Miami. Dwyane Wade sat this one out nursing a sore knee but took over commentator duties interviewing LeBron James following the game.
Of course it’s not a proper Miami Heat postgame interview without a video bomb from Chris Bosh!
Sidenote. It’s Spring. They’re in Miami...
As LeBron James stepped to the line with 27 seconds to go with the Heat’s 27-game winning streak on the line, down 98-91 to the Bulls, the United Center in Chicago erupted into “End the streak” chants. The undermanned Bulls, playing without Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, Rip Hamilton and Marco Belinelli, came through and put an end to the second longest winning streak in NBA...
MIAMI -- If LeBron James is getting tired of doing interviews during his team's winning streak, he isn't showing it.
Of course, it helps when the guy asking the questions is Miami Heat sidekick Dwyane Wade.
If you want know how loose the Heat are these days, check out what unfolded Sunday night following a 109-77 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, Miami's 26th in a row...
LeBron James and the Miami Heat extended their winning streak to 27 consecutive games after Monday’s win over the Orland Magic. James, who finished one rebound short of a triple-double, had two impressive bombs on the night. The first was the one-handed oop that James nearly caught over Beno Udrih. Secondly, James pulled a Bosh and videobombed Ray Allen’s interview.
Last week I taped a podcast with ESPN's super-talented sports writer Howard Bryant discussing the "TV sports bubble" and whether it would one day burst the way the housing market collapsed in 2007.
Bryant had written a provocative column detailing the fresh onslaught of television money that is inflating the value of sports franchises. The column never flatly stated...
