Jason Whitney LeBron James ripped the Nets, while Reggie Evans questioned how legit the Heat’s title was last year. LeBron James and the Miami Heat have already beaten up the Brooklyn Nets pretty handily in their first two matchups, winning by a combined 43 points in the two previous games. However, that didn’t stop LeBron from taking a shot at the Brooklyn Nets players before their highly anticipated matchup tonight as LeBron makes his debut at the Brooklyn Barclays Center.   LeBron on the Nets:`It sucks that Avery had to take the hit of them not wanting to play at a high level.’ — Mark Herrmann (@markpherrmann) January 30, 2013 Brooklyn Nets’ tough guy, Reggie Evans also had some head scratching opinions on LeBron James skill set. Evans, who was previously upset and called out the Memphis Grizzlies was at it again with King James. Evans feels LeBron James is no different from backup big, Andray Blatche or Joe Johnson. In fact, Evans even said Miami’s championship win last year was diminished because it was won during a lock-out shorten season. Via NYDailyNews.com: “Our team is defending the Miami Heat. If our team has to defend one person, LeBron isn’t going to score nothing. LeBron is no different from Joe Johnson or Andray Blatche. No different,” Brooklyn’s starting power forward said. “People need help (on defense). Some people don’t need help. Everybody has to be double-teamed, it doesn’t matter who you are. You just have to stop LeBron in transition. “He’s quick in transition. If you look at Joe Johnson – Joe Johnson has two or three people trying to stop him. Whoever is guarding him.” Then Evans talked about how the Miami Heat championship is tainted because of the condensed schedule. “It doesn’t prove nothing,” Evans told the Daily News when asked what it would mean to beat the defending champs. “That was a lockout season.” Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists
